Vintage Road Racing

Measuring 2.4 miles in length and featuring 15 turns — including the famous Keyhole, the Carousel, and one just called Madness, which is both blind and off-camber — the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is one of the most challenging road racing tracks in America.

What better location to host the AMA’s Vintage Road Racing Grand Championship, one of the most important vintage racing events of the season? With classes for hand-shifted pre-war racers and modern but non-current superbikes and everything in between — even racing sidecars — Vintage Motorcycle Days is a bucket-list event for every vintage road racing enthusiast.

Bagger Information

After several successful years, the American Motorcyclist Association and Bagger Racing League will crown even more champions at Permco AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days presented by Turn 14 Distribution, as big V-twin engines and fully-faired bagger motorcycles take to the famed 2.4-mile road course at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. AMA-chartered promoter Bagger Racing League (BRL) will partner with the AMA to promote and operate three amateur championships classes this year – Production Stock, Super Street and Bagger GP – The three classes will race together on Saturday, after which three champions will be crowned

AMA Road Race Grand Championship

The AMA Road Race Grand Championship is a single national championship event that determines AMA amateur and expert national road racing champions. For the first time, the 2026 AMA Road Race Grand Championship will run alongside AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, taking place on the iconic road course at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

With multiple AMA national championships on the line, several special awards will also be earned by racers throughout the afternoon. Most notably, the Nicky Hayden AMA Road Race Horizon Award will be awarded to the amateur racer that showcases the necessary skill and professionalism to excel at the highest level of the sport. The AMA will also recognize the AMA Amateur Road Racer of the Year and the AMA Vet/Senior Road Racer of the Year during the event.
